This a closed circuit, enter on it from the closest point based on your location and enjoy a 4 hour ride covering cities, country villages, twisty roads, mountain road and nice straights.
Note that there is a 6€ daily toll in Gerlos pass, if you like it I recommend getting the yearly ticket for 44€.

Beautiful Carnia route
The Villach Alpine Road is a 16.5 km long panoramic road from Villach-Möltschach (550 m) up on the Dobratsch Mountain (only up to the restaurant Rosstratte at 1,732 m). It has 7 hairpin bends and 116 curves. It offers special rests with perfect panorama and for bikers reserved parking places and biker safes for helmets etc. But you'll have to pay a toll to ride it.
The Gerlos Alpine Road is a winding road on the Gerlos Pass
and at the Krimml Waterfalls with a very beauitiful landscape.
On the top of the pass you'll find the marvellous landscape of
the high moors (nature-conservation area) and an perfect view to the
Krimml Waterfalls and into the Krimml Achen Valley.
An on top it is very biker friendly:
- "Bikers' Point" on the "Wasserfallblick" parking area (1,543m) with
information of routes and accommodation
- preferential parking areas reserved for motorcycles
next to the entrance to the Krimml Waterfalls and
the Water Wonder World with "Bikers' Safes" for intermediate
safe keeping of equipment not required
The B185 from Nauders in Austria to Martina literally just over the Swiss Border.
A little under 8km of nice scenery and a mixture of straights, curves and hairpins. All in all the road surface is very good. Often overlooked by travellers who continue on the B180 in Austria or the Swiss 27 in the valley below. For that reason traffic is normally light.
The road has maut - cost around 20€ per cycle - but is definately worth driving throug and drop on the side road as well and Edelweißspitze. The road up to Ews is made of slippery stones - be careful if the weather is cold or rainy!
Road itself is not requiring any special skills, but the scenery at the lakeside is worth visiting. Would be nice to dive in the area: if they had a bad or a pub down there near the church still open? Who knows?
The B166 from Niedernfritz to Hallstatt via the Paß Gschütt.
Joining the B166 from the B99 at Niedernfritz you head north passing through the Ski Resorts of Dachstein West. There is some beautiful scenery to admire and although the road surface is good, the road is nothing special in the grand scheme of Austria. There are a couple of nice sections but it is a means to an end.
At the junction with the B162 at Lindenthal you head east and it starts to become interesting. Fast sweeping bends on an excellent wide road surface following the river for much of the way before dropping down to Gossau. Stay on the B166 and after leaving Gossau you hit a very scenic section through woodland following the river on fast flowing roads to Hallstätter See. Turn right for Hallstatt and The Koppen Pass or left For the main B145 and head up to the big lakes around Sankt Wolfgang.
A couple of hundred metres after turning left is a car park on the edge of the lake with an pleasant outdoor cafe.
Crossing over the border between Italy and Austria at around 1800m, this spectacular pass has many nice corners.
Not a stunning road and a little built up in places but some nice scenery and flowing open corners with nice views. Overtaking not too difficult so traffic not a big problem
Scenic, open fast and medium speed mostly flat corners with good surface, can be busy with tourist traffic but done at 9am was quite ok
Fen
great fast flowing twisty road but watch out for cattle grids
This route connects Landeck in Austria to Bolzano in Italy missing out the motorway via Innsbruck and putting some very interesting climbs, descents, views and a number of straight bits. The bit from Merano to Bolzano is particularly good.
Really liked the combinations here, very nice.
The start of this route has quite a few hairpins, then after a while it calms down a bit and flows nicely.
Driving miles through beautiful surroundings and along this nice stretch to get to the lake, nice!
Sweeping Austrian alpine section along the water. Very nice
Fantastic little twisty section
Simply great Austrian alpine section following the river. Excellent corners and scenery but watch for cars on the otherside of blind sections.
Really good flowing turns in this forest section.
Excellent little switchback section
