Took this road after leaving the A4212 which continues towards Porthmadog;have always loved this road because it has got something for everyone.Incorporated this with the A548 Abergele road back towards West Lancashire-183 miles of top notch roads(well apart from the A55 which is a mundane dual c/w)
One of my favourite roads, open corners, tight corners, spectacular views, one of the best roads in wales and no police that i have ever seen anyway Go as fast as you like.
Awesome, the views are great but be aware of the sheep as they can be on the road.
Came across this route - A very rewarding road, olts of bends, with straights, nice smooth road surface, little traffic and great views. What I can abikers road, and a better way to get from Ffestiniog to Bala. There is also a Cafe half way along the route, what more do you need.
Beautiful, winding road over open moor with some tight bends (especially in the last half) and sheep to watch out for. Ride east-west as described to appreciate spectacular views over the Cynfal valley. If you're touring North Wales include this if you possibly can.
A great road, with good surface, and not much traffic, be aware there are some fairly blind tight corners, but nothing nasty. Best ridden east to west for one of the most outstanding views you'll see in north Wales, though only if the weather is clear. As must ride road.
