A mainstay of the way my group does Wayne's National Forest. It's best north of Woodsfield, but even the section from Woodsfield to Marietta is entertaining enough. 26 runs through the heart of the forest and gives you access to numerous twisty other roads.
I think that this was one of the best roads I've ridden. I don't know if I would have rode this if I was a beginner, but it was very enjoyable. I mean, if you enjoy lots of curves, hills, blind curves on hills. Make sure you gas up before taking this on, I don't remember any gas stations on the route. There are several other roads in the area that are worth the drive. Local drivers know the road very well, so don't be surprised if someone passes you at a place that you wish they wouldn't ;) Rode a 2006 BMW K1200 GT. Fun!
Very nice corners, good scenery, nice surface. Really good road
