On of the most spectacular routes in Norway, but please, take the west side of Andøya. This is the outer side where you dive along the shores of the Norwegian see. To your right you have the strange island of Andøya with is wide marches and beautiful mountains in between. The comunities Bleik and andenes is 'must see'. The inner or eastern side shown in this route is a rather humdrum and boring stretch. Recommendation for further driving: Ferry from Andenes to Gryllefjord, then do Senja, to Brentsholmen, then over Kattfjordeidet and to Tromsø. Then you are ready for a shower and a beer...
