I am planning a trip to ride a chunk of the North East US from Baltimore, MD. Basic outline is to head from Baltimore to Port Jervis, NY Across PA 6 and up to 1000 Islands. From there I am looking at going across upstate NY to VT, NH, and MA, CT, to loop back down to MD. Any help on routes to take ( I know that's a lot of ground to cover) that will keep me away from the highways and on the best back roads would be greatly appreciated. I have been digging on the maps here and love what I am seeing but always love to get feedback from fellow riders on what's good in the places I am riding.
